"I love you, Kitten."During the first half of the book, I truly believed that this was the best book of the series. There was a mystery about the disappearance of Tate, Juan, Dave, and Cooper, while ghostly Don do not want to help and talk about the past.Madigan on the other hand is arrogant, hostile and generally unbearable and he insists that Cat's friends are dead. The mystery gets more complicated when Don actually wishes that they are truly dead instead of being alive in Madigan's clutches.excited to find out the secrets of madigan, don's replacement. also ian needs a girl! Frost should write a book for him in the night huntress world series!i love that kat and bones have a daughter, katie!!! Too bad it might also be tate's biological daughter because he is super annoying. regardless, katie will have a lot of love and kat and bones can be together and be happy. Marie lavoux will keep their secret. bummer they have to go into hiding to hide katie's existence but i'm glad they get
It's OVER....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!No more Cat and Bones.....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!These two characters are larger than life!!!!!!!! It kills me that this is the last book in this series......OMG I have LOVED them both for years!!! I want this series to go on to INFINITY!!! However it's not just Cat and Bones the secondary characters are out of this WORLD!!!! Crazy good!!!! This series is hands down one of my ABSOLUTE favorites!!Bones....You sexy English bastard....I love you!!!!! I want more of
Ooooo cannot wait for more Cat & Bones - they so are paranormal romance's power couple! :)
"Yeah, well, Bones and I had a couple months of relative quiet. Guess it's time to liven things up again."This was a very good ending. If I'm being completely honest the last book of the Night Huntress series was a bit lacking, a very themed book that seemed like it needed to be more of a novella than anything else. But Up From the Grave delivers and manages to clean up whatever sour taste One Grave at a Time left behind. Full of shocking developments, and the humorous dialogue we have come to
Thoughts:-Ian is the bestest, hope he gets a book-Tate still gets on my nerves-that creeo, the CIA guy sucks ass-Bones is as devious as we remember him-Cat still has to learn to trust more-Denise getes the BFF of the year award-the kid... meh, just meh. I would have liked the book more without it mucking things up.PS: IAN REALLY HAS TO HAVE A BOOK
For all of us who suffered through the Sookie Stackhouse ending debacle, can I just say: Bravo, Ms. Frost!! For ending this series on a high note.We all know that she could have milked the love that people have for Cat and Bones until we couldn't stand the sight of them, but she didn't.Now.... please write a book starring Ian and I will become you're fan-girl.
