I love Linda Howard. She's one of my favorite authors. I love and recommend this book, because I'm an avid fan of old fashioned tender, loving, sensual romance novels like this one, as well as contemporary romance. It makes you feel good and want to fall in love over and over again, at least, for me. What can I say... I'm a "HOPELESS ROMANTIC". I just wish she will write more of the MCKENZIES'FAMILY, especially on the NICK'S character (Zane's daughter). Excellent read!This series is one of my favorites to re-read when I am in the mood for adventure and feel good family closeness.It was great re-reading the MacKenzies again. There is something almost timeless about MacKenzie's Mountain with Wolf and Mary. The kids' stories aren't half bad either. I'm glad that Linda Howard refrained from writing stories about the grandkids though, I don't think I could handle not having Wolf and Mary around.I don't know how many times I've re-read these stories, but they are always pleasurable reading to me.The only complaint I have with this book collection is that they put Chance's
Liked Zane and Chance's story the best. Glad I followed the reviews and read Mackenzie's Magic before Game of Chance.
My fav is Game of Chance followed by the original McKenize Mountain. I could have lived with Maris's story and the do goody Zane. I had looked forward to Joe's story but it just didn't resonate with me -- probably because of that God Awful Caroline Evans -- she was a prelude to that BLAIR WITCH!
One of my favorite collections. Each and every book leaves you wanting more and more :)
