Just breathtaking!! Was on the edge of my seat the whole way through!!As Seen on SacredChickens.com In this second three volume novel, we see the main character, Morgan Rowlands, a witch who has just discovered her abilities, progress in her training while at the same time trying to come to grip with a shocking betrayal. This book was just as good, and maybe even better, than the first volume. It keeps you on the edge of your seat. It has classic, almost typical themes, twisted in with ones so different from anything I have read that it makes it seem brand new. It was a great book!
I enjoyed this second volume of three Sweep novelettes more than I did the first. I feel it had more intrigue, more action, along with a couple of twists and glimpses into the past to keep things interesting. Many stories lag when a character spends too much time in his or her own mind and there's a little of that here, but not enough to annoy me. I just discovered today that there are 15 of these mini-novels and I wasn't really prepared to read a series that long, but I made it through this
This was delightful garbage. For which I am trash for.
