Ms. Bischoff captured the details exactlythe insecurities, the joys, the trials. Talk about reminiscing. After a few pages, I didnt want to put this book down. Only sanity telling me I should sleep at some point before the kids started to wake in 2 hours got me in the bed. Then I forced myself to knock out my daily word count goals before picking itI just finished Hush Money and am totally jonesing for the next book already! Loved this book. The main character, Joss, is snarky, strong, insecure, and protective-all things that make her a realistic heroine. I enjoyed her voice and also reading things from Dylan's (her crush) point of view. The back and forth between the two really kept the story moving. The action sequences were written well-easy to imagine and quite exciting! Unlike most YA Fiction authors i have read recently, Susan Bischoff doesn't seem to have felt the need to fill her pages with vastly overstated description or thersaurus bashing purple prose (*cough* Twilight *cough*).
