Representaion Concering Books The Dirty Truth
Warning this book contains highly sexual material. This book brings to light, sex in hockey, and how common group sex has become over the past several years. It contains confessional short stories from various Puck Bunnies, player´s girlfriends, players and fans. I wrote this book to open peoples eyes to the new "Media Generation" of teenagers that openly participate in group sex. I do not form any opinions and have left it up to the readers to form their own opinions and views on the book and how they feel towards this sub-culture.
Some girls are proud of their sexual exploits with hockey players and many of the player´s girlfriends talk about how they deal with the rumours and the Puck Bunnies. The players discuss the Puck Bunnies, as well as the fans and stalkers.
This book contains real truths of a sub-culture that was, is and will likely continue to happen, in the world of sports and foremost hockey.
The content is written in a non-judgemental way and with no sarcasm or finger pointing.
The book may be a hard read and difficult for some to swallow, but, believe you me, this sub-culture exists, even if the players change from year to year.

My girlfriend ordered this book and told me about it. It sounded dumb! She insisted I read it. I couldn't believe it at first. It was gross that these girls would do things like this just to sleep with a hockey player. I really felt bad when I read the part of the gay hockey players though. It made me realize how hard of a time they must have. They can't really tell their teammates that they are gay. I mean I can't recall any hockey players being openly gay in the NHL. Although it makes senseLMAO As strange as this book seems, I know girls who have done the same sort of things with our local hockey teams. The book is weird, sad and disturbing laughable at times. It's not really a novel more of a group of told events compiled together.
Disturbing! It's shocking what some young girls will do to have sex with a 'celebrity'. The same thing happens with rock stars etc., groupies have always been around but to read what some young girls will do was quite sickening. Who cares that the book is not well written,it was not written to win awards but to bring the nasty truth to everyone's attention. As long as we continue to idolize sports people and pay them huge amounts of money to play a game there will be these sad victims who will

I dunno great book but very twisted hahais this even real? i have no idea, but as a hockey fan and a sex-positive female, i was either dying laughing or cringing in horror at this book. the strange thing is that i'm not actually sure what i think about the information presented here, and it's causing me to think about some of my own viewpoints about sex positivity, and when i work those out in my head i will definitely have to come back and discuss it more. there are some structural problems -- it drove me nuts that you don't know at
A scandalous collection of poorly written sex stories. A very poorly written yet gripping novel. Something that everyone should be reading. It tackles some of the most important things that young teenagers face today. It's also interesting that one of the stories tackles the issue of homosexual teens in sports.
I don't usually write reviews of books, however, in this circumstance I will. I am a young father of a four year old girl. This book horrified me. I thought I was a pretty libral guy - pretty much open to anything. To read how young girls act and think about sex today made me want to lock up my daughter and throw away the key. When you become a father to a girl - your entire thought process changes. I am not innocent of past indiscretions however, teenagers today scare the crap out of me. I will
I wasn't sure how to rate this book. I agree with most of the other reviews. It certainly is not a masterpiece. However, it is one of the most honest books I have ever read. I laughed and cried while reading this book for many reasons. I dated an OHL player and these things really happen. That is the scariest part of reading this book - knowing it's reality!I felt so bad for these girls. You have to wonder how low someone's self esteem has to be for these girls to do the things they do. Having
