Don't forget to make her suffer, thank you.My progress on the whole series is my hatred for Gwenhwyfar is confirmed. Morgaine becomes a character that I sympathize with. There's still way too much internal dialogue for the book to be interesting. Or to make sense. The story being told by Morgaine, I don't understand how she knows what everyone else is thinking.Slogging through this book because I want to understand why fantasy enthusiasts like this series.
Here we are at book #2, which was hard to find, considering there is another series by the same author named "Avalon." and not "Mists of Avalon." But here we are! Morgaine makes an outspoken protagonist who doesn't wish to be married, and her story remains the strongest of them all when she speaks, which occasionally changes the point of view. Morgaine gets to be first and third person, which isn't done as much in modern books. Or is it? Edits aside, The High Queen focuses more on the emergence
Wow, that ending! I didn't see it coming xD I'm glad I have the next part at hand!This second part of The Mists of Avalon continues Morgaine's story, and now Gwenhwyfar's voice narrates her own story too. I love how the author manages to give each character their own distinct personality and voice, and their own personal worries and concerns. Each of these women might be connected to Arthur but their world doesn't revolve around him, and it's really their tale we read here, and not Arthur's.I

It was really well written to the point of me hating of the characters and getting angry all the time because of it.
Im waiting when Morgaine start to use her power to destroy man ! You should Morgaine !
